We purchased Joyride from Vaughn Farms Limousin in North Dakota to use on our heifers. He is a thick, masculine, and super docile TREF Gunpowder 290G son. We were very impressed with his highly productive dam, at 15 she is still in production and has a beautiful udder. He will be used on all of our heifers and select mature cows to increase milk, continue to improve our longevity, add marbling and depth. His first calf crop out of first calf heifers are looking very promising. They calf easy, pack on the pounds fast and are very mellow. Pictured as a two year old.

We purchased Hammer from Vaughn Farms Limousin in North Dakota. He is a long bodied, heavy muscled, and docile TOMV Diesel 619D son. His EPDs put him in the top 10% for GEST, WW, YW, TM, STAY, DOC, REA and YG. As expected, his calves have added growth and performance while maintaining the superior carcass traits and docility we strive for. We will continue to use him on mature cows with his higher BW but with over 30 calves on the ground and zero assists his tall-lengthy calves don't keep us up at night. They come easy and early at birth then explode with muscle just like a Limousin calf should. His first set of daughters are scheduled to calve in May of 2023, and we can't wait to see them in production.

We purchased Goldmine from Grooms Limousin in Ohio. He is a sound, traditional built Fullblood we purchased for his maternal qualities, length of body, and muscle. His first group of calves hit the ground in the spring 2022 and they are showing plenty of muscle in their large frames. We will only use him on mature cows.

Apollo is a smooth made high percentage purebred bull that has left us with an excellent group of females. His daughters have great maternal instincts, beautiful udders, sound feet, and nice temperaments. He has proven to be a great choice to use on heifers. We have finished quite a few of his calves for our custom beef clients. They are medium-large framed with superior carcass yield and nicely marbled tender beef even when harvested lean.

The Millers purchased Neptune for their commercial herd in 2012 and sold him with the herd to Brad & Rachel in 2015. Neptune is a Wulf's Ransom son, so he brought us great calving ease and docility. His calves were small, hardy, and lively therefore a great choice for heifers. He left us a great group of sound and gentle females. We have finished many of his calves over the years and true to the breed have performed well.

The Fullblood bull that started our passion for the Limousin breed. Rachel's parents purchased him for their commercial herd in 2000 and were very impressed with his calves' muscle, carcass yield, and docility. Docility is a trait we take very seriously especially in bulls; Jocko's docility has been unmatched by any bull we have owed up until the purchase of Hammer in March of 2021. No one can recall Jocko running even if the herd took off, he would continue walking along at his own pace. He left us very nice group of long bodied well-muscled cows with great udders that were consistent producers for many years. Ever since we have exclusively used Limousin sires for our herd and don't plan to go back.
